Enzo Carella - Vocazione LP

Label: RCA Italy

Limited edition purple vinyl.

Vocazione - the first album by Enzo Carella, originally released in 1977 - is late '70s Italian singer-songwriter AOR and soft rock of the highest order. Recorded at the legendary RCA Studios in Roma with a crack band, the vibes are light, breezy, and perfect. While sounding at times like the funkier side of Tropicalia, Topanga Canyon floaters like Ned Doheny, or, closer to home, fellow countryman Lucio Battisti, Carella hits a stride all his own on this stunning debut. Contains the singles "Fosse Vero," released the previous year, and "Malamore," a song that enjoyed radio success.
