The long-standing Italian imprint, Artis Records, returns with one of its most ambitious releases to date, the monumental Opus Avantra Box Collection by Opus Avantra, one of the most singular bands to emerge from Italy's prog and experimental '70s scene.

The band's five albums – Opus Avantra Donella Del Monaco (1974), Lord Cromwell Plays Suite for Seven Vices (1975), Strata (1989), Lyrics (1995), Loucos (2021) – as well as their two 7" records Il Pavone (originally released in 1974) and Allemanda (originally released in 1975) – plus a CD collecting excerpts from various live concerts, and the Viaggio Immaginario DVD (capturing the band live in Tokyo in 2008).

Ambitious and completely unclassifiable in the ways that very few were leading indeed to their inclusion in the legendary Nurse With Wound list.
