Rafael Toral is a Portuguese experimental guitarist given much critical acclaim by Lee Ranaldo and Jim O'Rourke (who reissued Sound Mind Sound Body on CD in the '90s). Lush ambient guitar drones cross the likes of My Bloody Valentine's gliding sound, Eno's mid-'70s ambient work and John Fahey's avant-plucking.
