Following of the original 2020 Morricone Segreto compilation and on the day that would have marked the Maestro's 95th birthday, CAM Sugar will release a new collection of songs composed by Ennio Morricone and performed by international singers: Morricone Segreto Songbook.

This time CAM Sugar collected vocal tracks by international singers likes Massimo Ranieri, Florinda Bolkan, Domenico Modugno and many others. A selection built as a singing counterpart to the previous instrumental tracklist, maintaining unchanged the pop-psych, dark-cinematic and avant-garde sounds that characterized the original collection. Plus some swerves into the folk-rock of the time, including poignant ballads and elegant chansons. This anthology was born from the desire to delve deeper into Morricone's production of cinematographic songs, to bring to light some hidden gems that have been more or less forgotten or overshadowed, despite the innovative level of the writing and the modernity of the orchestration.
